Questions?

Q: Do you field dress the deer?

A: Yes, however you will be charged a $15 fee. We prefer the deer arrive at our store already properly field dressed.

Q: Do I get my own meat back?

A: Yes, you do. Your deer is assigned a unique number when it arrives at our store – that number matches the cutting sheet and the billing number and stays with the deer throughout the entire process, ensuring that it is not mixed up with another deer.

Q:  I brought my deer in for processing and it was refused – Why?

A: If a deer is gutshot, contaminated with maggots, or just plain spoiled we will refuse the processing. If we were to process a “bad” deer, it contaminates all of our equipment and could spread to another deer that was properly handled, that just isn’t fair to the person who took the time and effort to properly take care of his deer.

Q:  I thought I asked for a specific cut and did not receive it?

A: When you bring your deer in for processing we ask that you personally sign the cutting order. It is imperative that you know exactly how the deer is going to be processed before you sign the cutting order. If you have any doubts at all – please ask questions to make sure it is absolutely correct.

Q: Can you hang my deer for me?

A: No, due to our limited space in our walk-in coolers and freezer, we cannot honor this request.

Q: Is there a deposit to pay when I drop off my deer?

A: Yes. All deer are required to have a $20.00 deposit when dropped off. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit/debit cards.

Q: My deer is ready for pickup but I can't make it in time to get it?

A: You will be given a claim check when your deer is dropped off and whoever has the check can pick it up for you if needed along with amount due.

Q: Do you process anything other than deer?

A: Yes. We also process swine (pigs and hogs) and elk for .35 cents per pound.
